At Brookland Middle School we prepare students to become lifelong learners who demonstrate curiosity and express themselves creatively and reflectively.
Vision
The vision of Brookland Middle School is to teach and provide all students the opportunity to develop thought processes that facilitate:
Empathy – the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes in order to understand what they are thinking and feeling
Empowerment – give students the voice they need to speak up for what they believe in or what they need
Growth – an understanding of and belief in the process of becoming
Integrity – encouraging students to choose their thoughts and actions based on honesty and respect for self and others
